Lets go to the Movies

EDO Group of Companies continues its sponsorship of Japanese culture and community and our participation in the IncluCity Film Festival (ICFF). Two outstanding films are our connection point to the festival and our EDO family.

First, Umami featuring Gérard Depardieu and Kyôzô Nagatsuka tells the story of Frances most renowned chef, trying to deal with a sense of emptiness and unhappiness and his renewal through inspiration of a quest to Japan and the search for the elusive fifth taste known as umami. This film is on July 16th at 9:30 PM at the Trinity Cinema in the Distillery District.

Umami, A Taste of Happiness

Second, celebrating 35 years since its release, Kikis Delivery Service features Kirsten Dunst, Phil Hartman, Tress MacNeille, Janeane Garofalo, and Matthew Lawrence is about a young with named Kiki who takes a solo journey as part of her training. A great film for the entire family and those who love to celebrate Japanese Anime from the Ghibli creative house.
